Year 8 inspired by a novel to help the homeless
In September we started to read the novel Stone Cold by Robert Swindells. The story is about Link a young man who had problems at home and becomes homeless, frightened and alone in London. After half term the new topic of work was persuasive writing and we looked at how charities try to persuade people to make donations.
