Healthy Eating
We positively encourage and promote healthy eating and healthy lifestyles at Sedgehill. We have worked very closely with our meals provider Chartwells to ensure students are offered an interesting varied and nutritional menu.
The menu changes over a three week cycle and we are encouraging all students to take our main meal option – as many students (and staff!) already do.
My personal favourite from the meat option is the roast turkey dinner followed by fresh fruit salad which offers good value for money. My Year 7 class tell me the chocolate sponge and custard takes some beating however. On the vegetarian front goat’s cheese, tomato and leek quiche is another firm favourite.
